IPAM – Marketing School for Business and LSM Business School have joined forces to present an innovative model designed for the executive programs. The strength of these two international schools have brought together leading faculty from European business schools to develop the first advanced executive seminar in strategy development in competitive environments.
This three day seminar will take place at the RIBA building in central London and will be delivered by leading thinker on strategy and strategic management, Dr George Panagiotou. This seminar is aimed at anyone involved in the strategy making process, whether you are an entrepreneur, work in a single or diversified business unit or for a conglomerate organisation. It is particularly relevant to those who develop strategy based on key factors for success, core competencies, innovation or pursuing aggressive initiatives.

By the end of this seminar participants should be able to:
• Recognise the complex issues facing contemporary organisations in determining their long-term direction. • Contextualise strategy from a business perspective and appreciate the key elements involved in strategic development. • Develop an understanding of the latest theoretical concepts that underpin strategic thinking. • Appreciate the different methodologies involved in the process of strategy development and recognise potential barriers to effective strategy formulation. • Gain an ability to apply relevant skills in the process of decision-making and its implementation in organisations.

Corpo Docente | Teaching Staff
George Panagiotou George is a senior lecturer in strategy and is recognised as one of the world's leading CIM Professional Postgraduate Diploma lecturers. Before becoming a lecturer George had over 15 years' experience in senior management positions within the service sector. One of George's most recent and substantial contributions includes the Telescopic Observations Matrix, which has recently been published in London Business School's Strategy Review and was submitted for publication in the Strategic Planning and Intelligence Journal. The TOM Framework is now being used by organisations to shape their strategic thinking and has helped improve the analysis, evaluation and decision making of many postgraduate marketing students. George has a PhD and has been external examiner to Sussex University for their marketing programmes. He now holds a position as a senior strategy lecturer at London Metropolitan University and is a research fellow at the University of Nottingham.
Metodologia | Methodology
This Advanced executive seminar will be delivered by leading thinker on strategy and strategic management, Dr George Panagiotou and all it’s conception was developed to provide a platform for senior’s managers to build on collective experience and knowledge of participants and professors. This interactive learning means participants do far more than simply acquire new business knowledge and skills. Key aspects of the programme include innovative leadership, roundtable discussions with experts and leading professionals. It is also expected that participants will continue their “hands-on” activity after formal seminar is ended, preparing themselves for the following day and/or providing tutorial sessions Dr. George Panagiotou.
